Winter boiler checks

Winter is fast approaching, the click of the boiler coming on for the central heating has become a regular feature in our household in the past couple of weeks (just for the kids of course...) as the temperatures have really started to drop off. It's important to have your boiler serviced regularly by a professional but there are some simple checks you can do yourself in Autumn to determine if your central heating system is running as efficiently as it should be.
